Thanks! No can do on roller bridge as I will be transplanting JTV Variax electrionics into the Mooncaster. Graphtec piezos will be necessary. There are a few guys that have put bigsbys on JTVs. I will be doing a warmoth V with bigsby first, so if any issues can do the mooncaster without bigsby.

Has anyone put together a mooncaster with a bigsby? B5? B7? Is the moon caster top flat or curved?

I live in Dominican Republic so not sure I would trust a cabinet maker etc. I found a set of V templates on ebay. I know a luthier down there and just may have him shape the headstock and drill tuner holes.

Hmmmm. . . .may look into that. I plan on 2 prails and a middle p90 so not a traditional rockin V. Heck maybe a tele neck. My build which is in the works now is a warmoth Firebird with tele neck and tele pickup type config. . . . . Time to look at snakeheads as well. . . .

With bolt ons, generally saline is better than silicon, and under the muscle is more "organic" than over the muscle. :icon_jokercolor:

Yep they fit. One hole does not line up. I had a warmoth strat neck with angled headstock laying around and bought an empty 69 off ebay. Had the empty body finished in metallic purple, had the warmoth strat neck slapped on, and viola cool guitar. Never asked my tech/luthier if he doweled the...

I dig the prails alot on JTV variax guitars. 95% of my patches use both magnetic and modeled sounds at once. So if I need to combine with a strat, tele, 335, gretsch etc, the prails give more flavors than dual humbuckers. So yeah they all basically sound the same. Original plan was to get a LP...
