I'm getting ready to buy some Hipshot lockers for the Musiclander/Warhead build I'm starting. Seems like they should be solid. I especially like that mounting plate system they use. Makes it easier to get them straight on the headstock.

Exactly. That thing is awesome. With Warmoth customizability... I mean, imagine that thing in holo flake, purple burst over ash, or some other outrageous finish.

I like Jazzmasters. It's just a different aesthetic appeal - a Jazz Bass style guitar would basically be just a curvy, offset Strat. It would match the CBS headstock better, imo.

This has probably been suggested before, but I think a Jazz Bass shaped guitar body would look killer, especially with a CBS or Jazzmaster headstock. Although naming it might be a challenge since 'Jazzcaster' is already taken.
