You are 100% correct. I just noticed that in the neck customizer options on the paddle necks roasted maple is not an option. I guess you'll probably just have to ask for this option over the phone. I just thought I'd ask if anyone knew if they'd say no.  :headbang:

Why can't a maple paddle headstock neck be roasted? I know why Warmoth won't finish the neck. That's obvious, but why not roasted?

I'd really be into a full ebony neck. I've though about it a lot. I'm kinda a maple/rosewood guy myself though. Although I think the alternative I've been looking at is using Kingwood for the rosewood because of it's stability. Combine that with some roasted maple and I should be pretty square...

Considering I'm not looking for a neck wood that's REALLY not going to help me. Of course I already looked at the body-wood version of this. I'm not so dumb that I didn't look at that for a half hour before posting this.

Ya know the three bolt construction is so underated, its neck tilting mecanizm (if that's how you spell it!  :icon_biggrin) works better than the new micro tilt. (In my opinion)
