Canary & Banana Pudding...

I've always been dedicated to using mostly Warmoth Maple and Rosewood necks so this build was the first time for Canary. At the time of purchase it was the only CBS Pro Construction neck in the showcase with a '59 Round-back profile, ebony board, 1 11/16" nut. It also has 6105 Stainless Frets, Optional Dots, Tusq Nut. As I was told long ago by a well known body and neck builder: If you want it to sound right you need lots of wood in the neck.
For an improved decal appearance, seasonal stability and durability over the long haul I applied a Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish.

The 4 lb. Alder body is a 95% one piece Hefner 3-Bolt 70s style that was finished using a Nitro Vintage Cream AKA Banana Pudding AKA Vintage White. Pickups are Fralin Blues Specials mounted on a Fender Engine Turned Aluminum Pick Guard, 5 position switch, Guenther jack plate, bridge is a Fender USA 57/62 Hardtail, tuners are Vintage Style Kluson Double Line, nut is Tusq and strings are 10-46 GHS Nickel Rockers. The Pro Construction neck is attached to the 3-Bolt body with a rock solid ProAttach.com Kit. Inserts and 8-32 oval head stainless screws replaced the two upper 1 3/4" wood screws. Inserts highly recommended when using a tends-to-strip-threads wood like Canary. Actually inserts and a Proattach.com Kit add horsepower and a little sugar to the mix.
Note: A ProAttach Kit eliminates Micro Tilt Hardware. What most people do not know is the clamping ability of a 1/4"-28 TPI Machine Screw surpasses the clamping ability of 2 neck screws. When it comes to neck mounting and transmitting vibration between the neck and body ProAttach is a whole new ballgame. As for any future 4-Bolt Builds, Once You Go ProAttach You Never Go Back.

Very nice! :headbang1:

The canary works perfect with this strat.  Gotta love the canary...

:rock-on:

Thanks to All for your kind replies. I'll post photos of a few more builds using Warmoth necks ASAP. And, check out "ProAttach" for 3-Bolt Bodies on eBay...Thanks again... :eek:ccasion14:

Ya know the three bolt construction is so underated, its neck tilting mecanizm (if that's how you spell it!  :icon_biggrin) works better than the new micro tilt. (In my opinion)

Hi HMstratocaster, Due to truss rod design Pro Construction necks will not accept Micro-Tilt hardware. The Pro Construction Canary neck pictured is attached to the 3-Bolt Micro-Tilt body using a kit called "ProAttach." The kit makes it possible to attach a Pro Construction neck to a 3-Bolt Micro-Tilt Strat or a 3-Bolt Tele Deluxe body. ProAttach is available on eBay, check it out. NovasScootYa.

Wow dude. Really really liking it. I've wanted to do a build sorta like that for a while. Yours turned out amazing.
