While pricey, I don't recall hearing anyone getting BKs and changing them out later.

There are 14 covered options, and 11 open coil colours, so chances are pretty high that a second hand one wouldn't have the aesthetic end you're after.

Definitely after a set of Aftermaths and to a lesser extent, the Cold Sweat. As far as 'used' goes I'll take any of their 'contemporary' offerings. Thanks for offer but I will pass on the Abraxas.

I've heard nothing but good things with BKP... which is why I wanted to see if I couldn't save some coin and pick up a used set. I do understand a used one probably won't have the aesthetic look...

I'll no doubt be pulling the trigger on them on way or another before my project is ready for wiring.

I have 2 sets of BKPs, but will never take them out of the guitars they're in. The reason you only hear good things is the same reason you don't find anyone selling theirs. Once you have them, you won't be sorry you got them new.  :glasses10:
