when you have the time to branch out, think about wood pickup covers, pickup rings, control plates, knobs. there are a few people doing them on the internet but you have to look all over. and getting them from different places adds to the shipping, handling and confusion.

What's the point of a wood pickup cover?  They're metal for a reason.

mabe it's just a bassist thing (they're typicall more open to new ideas, ya know), but wooden pickup covers that match the top wood are killer!!!
