Which recording gear do you use?

Scarlett 18i20, Yamaha HS5s, Reaper, AKG D5, AT2020, Amplitube 5, Waves Abbey Road... No room treatment - weird shaped attic room with sofa, carpets and many obstacles.
I'm no 'Lillywhite', and throwing substantial money at it won't improve my output.

In the unlikely event I ever need 'professional quality recordings', I'll rent a studio and hire professionals.

Alesis Prolinier 720’s (I’ve had these for many years…never found a reason to change.)
Odd shaped “Iso” room w/treatment, not “proper” but works for me. Mics and 1/4 jacks plug through the wall. I built it so I can record at any time of day without bothering the wife…if I’m reasonable.

No. Like I said, not “proper” but it works for me. It’s really just a couple of walls built from 2x4’s, some insulation and a door paneled to match the room. I built the window out of 1x4 pine and plexiglass. A fun little project that adds to the fun. FWIW I don’t hear any odd build up of bass…but would I even know… hehhehheh!
