Where can I find some Brass bridge studs for a PRS-style wraparound bridge?

Anyone know? I'd like to put some brass bridge studs on my PRS SE, (the stock studs are super light aluminum) as well as on my VIP that I'm building (I'm using a Wilkinson wraparound bridge, same dimensions as the PRS)

Ibanez Rules is the best place I've ever found for that kind of thing, but they may know exactly what you're talking about, or you may have to do some detective work to figure out the size and pitch of the threads. I mean, they probably have the exact thing you need, but you'll have to describe it carefully:

Does the PRS SE use metric or English dimensions? For that matter, I don't know what the U.S. PRS's use... you can either start from the top-down, e-mail the manufacturer and ask, or from the bottom-up, take a post to a really good hardware store, ask for the "screw guy", and find a matching nut that'll tell you what threads to ask for from the Ibanez Rules dude, Ebay, Allparts....

If you think of it as a Mystical Quest it may not seem as sucky. :cool01:

It's been 10+ years, but I ordered a PRS wraparound bridge from GC.  They might could order just the posts.  Don't know if they're brass, but they sure ain't aluminum.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the ideas! Haha, and Stub, I like the "mystical quest" part  :hello2:

I just found these on PRS's online store:
they supposedly will only fit the USA models, so it might not help me (and at $60 for a pair, they're pricey!)
