The list is to small and selective.

Dollar for value, my Godin WINS hands down. That is absolutely the best playing guitar for $800 I have had.
And we can go back 2 decades and I would still say that. That guitar delivers in spades every time,

Best playing guitar is certainly my Dusenberg.

Next is my W strat.

The 79 LP is handicapped as it needs new frets for an honest assessment.

And where is Hamer? The best guitar I ever owned was a Hamer. That was so long ago I dont have to say USA Hamer.

Heritage!  That's what I'd get if I had a lot of guitar cash laying around and didn't feel like building one.

Godin is my main one (for production guitars), and the Ibanez Jem, though goofy-looking, plays like a dream.  But no Hamer?  No Parker?

But because I prefer a 1-7/8" nut width, Warmoth will win every time...

I had to pick "other".  I have an old Spector (by Kramer) that is so far and above any Kramer I ever played it doesn't qualify as one.  My other production guitar is a Burnside (by Guild) that is a champ of a workhorse guitar for under $100.
