Didnt Silvertone make aome great t00b amps built into guitar cases? :hello2: Anyway, I think silvertone is/was Danelectro wernt they?

Brian

I don't think Dano and Silvertone are the same thing though.

Well, you're wrong. In the 60's Danelectro made the Silvertone guitar line for Sears.
I don't think the amps were made in house by Danelectro though. I've heard a subsidiary of Supro made them, but I don't know/remember for sure.

Umm... Could you please leave the racism at the door? In my opinion it's bullshit like that which is ruining our end of the country.

Do you still live in Malmö?  I've got several friends there!

BTW - any tips for getting into the Malmö festival?

Yes indeed I do! I played at the festival last year, but it was very small scale (in one of the exhibitor's tents - we were not on the official festival bill). I guess the easiest way is to simply get in contact with the arrangers, and if that doesn't work, ask around at all the pubs, restaurants and clubs you can find. We have quite a lot of those so getting a gig should not be impossible. The pay, on the other hand, could be somewhat limited :p

What do your friends do here?

Alembic.......  That is a 'High end' guitar manufacturer.  I've never played one, but I have seen one up close and personal, and they really are a beautiful instrument.  Those Wickersham's know how to do it!!

I also voted for fender and g&l because I have owned both

Best bass I ever purchased is my trusty Modulus.
http://www.modulusguitars.com/v3/
I've had mine for 12 (!) years, and it still has
practically flat-on-the-board, buzz-free action
and a straight as an arrow neck.
They're MUCH more expensive now, but in '98,
one could pick one up for less than a second tier Warwick!!!

Jackson (liked the looks when used to play guitar a lil)
Rickenbaker
and Other (Warwick to be exact)
Bassist here so odd choices maybe?  :glasses9:
