What was your first amp

Always wanted a tan Dean Markley amp and a Seymour Duncan Convertible.

A Legend A30 combo amp (image from Reverb, not taken by me). It was loud! Not sure what my little brother did with it when I went into the USAF.

I remember those. Either The Outlaws or Molly Hatchet did some ads with them. Oddly every time I saw them it was Marshall or Fender in the back line. Always wanted to try one.

I think that ZZ top was also endorsing them as well...

My first amp was a Univox U-65RN. Looked exactly like this one:

Got it in early 1974, used it for ~2 years before graduating to a silverface Fender Bassman 50 head feeding a Dual Showman cabinet with JBL D-130s. (or were they D-140s? Can't remember now.) That Fender monstrosity sounded amazing.

The Univox, not so much. Although, I suspect if I'd kept it long enough for the punk-rock phenom to come around, I would have been all over the sound of that shitty 15-watt solid state combo cranked fully clockwise. I mean, it would still have been an awful sounding amp...but that would've been appropriate by then.
