I'd do satin clear on the body and leave the neck raw, should come pretty close to matching the neck. I'm not a huge fan of urethane finishes (for cosmetic reasons, not tone), but even I would prefer sending it back to W to get that done instead of filling and painting wenge
Gotta agree with Cage-man in that gun oil will make the body look a mess. You will find the oil will soak in some spots more than others.
Didn't know raw necks got sent out with a sealer. Is that why every W maple neck I've played raw for the past 30 years has never warped?
