Hey, Dudesweet, these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head: Max, Riverbluff, you, myself, Ognolman.  I don't think nathana is here, and from what I understood, Skuttle was planning on a move to Charloote, but it was indefinitely postponed.  Any other North Carolinians around?  Let us Know!!!!  I have a pretty nice backyard with a freestanding deck that already looks like a stage!  Maybe when it warms up I'll see how many of you I can get over here.   We'll rock out.  I cook for a living too, so there would have to be snacks, and adult beverages for those who care to part-take.  Anyway, sounds like an idea!

All,

I'm located in Goldsboro.  I got 2 acers of land and neighbors who love to party.  I'd be happy to open up the doors once the weather warms up.  I even have a good collection of Home Brew that may need to be drank before a possible move to Germany or the UK.  My guitar playing is not the best but I grill a mean brawt!

That sounds awesome... maybe my fiance and I will be visiting my friend in Winston-Salem when that happens...

No hating here.  :)  Sounds fair enough to me, not judging until you have something to go on.

I don't like his name, it's not American. Sounds to much like a Muslim name, and we don't need that. Also to much controversy over where he was born, and I'm sure it was covered up. At least there was no doubt that Bush is American..Yes Max, I'm hatin' on the "Obamination"

Very true.  How many of us are there anyway?  So far I know of myself, Max, Guitlouie, and nathan a.  I think Skuttlefunk was down in Charlotte but moved, or maybe he moved to Charlotte.  I don't remember.  Who else is out there?

Just for the record guys, I live in Massachusetts. Only been to NC once, two years ago (I was in Asheville).

Before I knew who he was, I just heard his last name and I thought he was Irish... O'Bama.  Then I heard Barack, and I was confused.

I do wish that they would stop showing that pop art picture of him where he looks like Che.  Che was sooooooooo lame, I don't know why anyone would look up to him or try to make our president look like him, especially when Obama supporters get really mad if you insinuate that Obama is a bit socialist.

Karl Rove is in trouble now that Bush isn't around to protect him.

By the way, Doug, I'm going to assume your whole post about Obama's name was a joke, because otherwise I'm totally disgusted with you.

After hearing how Pelosi claimed that birth control will stimulate the economy, I remain of the opinion that her and her ilk
are stone-cold socialist morons who are going to screw us up even more than we already are.

Obama?  It's too early to tell with Obama.  He's done a couple things that I don't agree with, but main concerns are the economy and how he deals with the true islamists.

Oh yeah.  I heard that.  She basically said "the state can't afford your kids, so help us out and stop having them."

I would have said "The state can't afford to take care of you morons who fry your brains on drugs, so stop doing them," or "if you are a crack addict, get your tubes tied or get a vasectomy so you won't have any messed up crack children for welfare to take care of," or "don't commit any crimes so we don't have to support you when you spend your time in prison", but apparently to her it is a better idea to tell everyone to stop having kids because obviously children are just a bothersome state expense, even when they are born to people who are fully prepared to be good parents.  I wonder if she is going to suggest we make it illegal for people like my cousin to go to China and adopt kids.  He has 2 little girls from there, who were abandoned because of China's psycho restrictions on basic human reproductive rights.

It's really stupid because having children actually stimulates the economy in the private sector.

Dangerous, you sound completely ignorant. I am no longer afraid to tell you that your NECKPLATES ARE UGLY AND AMATEURISH. A man can do nothing about the name he was given, idiot.

I dont know how to take that last post...  I KNOW dougs was... well... dougs.
but I cant tell if this one is in the same vein or not.

I'll have to say I side with doug in any case... we use the same amps.

K really tho, as a Canadian I'm excited about Obama simply because when you become the president of the United States, you really are looked up to by the entire world, not just your own country.  He'll have the support of most of the world and that should only help his administration, and the U.S.  Unless he is asshat retarded and really really .. REALLY screws things up.  but really...  the president doesn't have as much power as everyone thinks he does.

Yes, the US president gets looked up to by the rest of the world... if he is liberal.

I agree though that the president doesn't have anywhere near as much power as people think.  He has about as much power as someone trying to control a herd of cats.

Which is clearly a terrible thing. Cause I mean, the Bush administration made great strides in foreign diplomacy.

PS I do think Doug was joking.

Well you know what they all say:

"visualize whirled peas"

...it's a jungle out there.  World peace does not exist, nor will it ever.

Because people are by nature imperfect and corrupt.

So the best policy is - if people can't be square with ya, then F 'em.
