The neck turned out to feel a little bit thicker than I'd like. Perhaps that's ok though, since this guitar has the most insane sustain I've ever heard.  It's Nigel Tufnelesque.

The Les Pauls famous sustain is usually enhanced by a 100 watt Marshall cranked to 11.  A friend with a Les Paul Custom, 52 RI Tele, and Am Standard Tele, he said the Teles made his LP sound like a dud in the sustain department.  Good thing guitars aren't only measured by that.

Nice guitar.

I bet that's a pretty un-tele tele. humbucker, metal cover. in a metal plate.

You can get used to anything. It's a time-in-grade thing.

And Nigel Tufnelesque? LOL! That's right up there with "truthiness". Gotta add those to my spell checker dictionary.

Most blokes are going to be playing at 10. You're on 10 at your guitar, where can you go
from there? Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is we need that extra push over the cliff, you
know what we do? Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
