Warmoth Telecaster Deluxe Pickguard Question

I was about to order a pickguard from Warmoth for my Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe Re-issue and it popped up that it only fits Warmoth bodies.  Does anyone know what is different?

More like do not do this project!  It is another money pit!

looking at 72 deluxe pics on google and W's pickguard builder it looks that the lower bout is curved a little different and the space under the bridge route is slightly different.
