Well I decided to go ahead and order my neck with the white Tusq nut; I can always try to age it myself

Cutting you own Tusq nut is easier, it's a much more consistent, predictable material.

Yep, this. I would take TUSQ any day over bone.

Also, it doesn't reek like rendering plant when you file it.

On the downside, you can't use the filing dust to make glue or jello.
