Waffle this holiday season?

I can help after the 1st. The only issue I see is that people are wanting to do Gift certificates and W only sales them in demominations of $25 meaning that everyone would have to buy max waffles. In years past mot bought only one or two.

Actually, we could set a max gift certificates accepted... like 2... If someone want to buy 45, that is his problem, we would only accept the code of 2... :)

Nando,

I think you miss understood. In the past it was $5 for one chance with a max of $25 for 5 chances. W only has $25 gift certificates so what to do if someone only wants to purchase 1?

Yes, I misunderstod :)

Well, thinks will have to adapt to the new conditions, right??? If the smaller gift certificated is $25, than each ticket need to be it... I believe even then, we will be able to reach the amount of certificates to do a waffle :)

how 'bout it is $25 for your first one, and any $5 over that is another pack of butter (up to either 4 or 5 additional packs of butter max). I realize this makes the initial jump in more expensive, but it also makes the additional packs of butter oh-so-tempting . . .

Hey, Cagey, am I correct in interpreting your earlier email about this stuff as you volunteering to be the waffle chef?

I'm not unwilling, but I haven't come up with a good scheme. I'm considering selling serialized picks, and I think that could be made to work. They'd be specially authorized Cagey-approved picks, so they'd cost about $5 ea. But, it eats up some of the fundage for materials/postage. Wouldn't be much, but it could probably hit $75-$100 depending on participation.

Well, the serial numbers would be logged and published, so even if the pick never showed up or was lost it would still be "your" pick. Nobody else would ever have a pick like it. But, you really want one of these things. They absorb radiation like a black body, but are specially filtered to appear normal. Of course, they don't need any power, the magic is in the material itself as well as the configuration. But, you'd find that pleasant harmonics would be easier to achieve while destructive overtones would be repressed, due to the critically formulated material the picks are made of. I'd have to check my files, but I'm sure there's a patent on the stuff somewhere...
