Apologies if this has been suggested before, but I can't believe Warmoth still doesn't offer a vol/toggle/tone controls option - like on so many 2 humbucker models by Jackson/ESP/Ibanez et al. Seems like a really glaring omission? :dontknow:
That's true. Especially some of Warmoth's exotic wood/fancy finish bodies/necks. Scratching/denting a Fender or a Gibson is one thing, but a Warmoth? That rises to the level of criminality :laughing7:
But, given the proper tools/techniques, it's not really very risky. These days, you have places like this forum where there are lotsa people repairing/modifying/assembling/setting up their own instruments who are happy to help keep you out of trouble. If you're still concerned about that sort of thing, you can certainly get that kind of work done for you. Lotsa people do, for that reason or because they don't own the appropriate tools to do some things or they're not confident in their ability to achieve the results they're looking for. Even with the added cost of a luthier/technician, you still get to own a personally idealized "boutique" instrument without the possible risks associated with doing your own fabrication/assemby/setup, most often for a lot less money than many of the better OEM/custom shop units would cost.
