As luck would have it the case that my classic guitar came in case fits the VIP.
So I don't have to spend $$ on a case for the VIP. I will get some foam and make it snug.

Getting closer to finishing. Haven't had a chance to try and match the color of the wood pickup rings with the body. Might just go with White pickup rings or leave them off.

Decided to just use some metal pickup rings to complete the guitar. Now I just need to finish wiring and stringing it up.

I know, I know. Too much going on on the homefront and work. Everytime I plan sometime to finish something else comes up.

Did you put any extra padding in the bottom of the case? On three of mine I cut out some polyfoam, wrapped it in velvet, then glued it in. Works good.

Wow that really looks nice. The neck looks really nice with that body, color and shapes.
