VIP Jazz Build

As luck would have it the case that my classic guitar came in case fits the VIP.
So I don't have to spend $$ on a case for the VIP. I will get some foam and make it snug.

Getting closer to finishing. Haven't had a chance to try and match the color of the wood pickup rings with the body. Might just go with White pickup rings or leave them off.

Did you put any extra padding in the bottom of the case? On three of mine I cut out some polyfoam, wrapped it in velvet, then glued it in. Works good.

I am hoping to find some time focus on finishing "Precious" up by the middle of next month after things quiet down. Between work, playing Nurse Diesel (High Anxiety) to my wife during her recovery from knee surgery, another log was thrown on the fire with our daughter in the process of purchasing a house in the KC area. Hopefully I don't throw my back out moving furniture... All of this has taken all of my free time from enjoying finishing this guitar. Definitely looking forward to hearing how those pickups sound too.

The Warmoth VIP body is definitely worth the money.
