Aw yeah, that is killer.  I'm glad you've come over to the dark side of raw necks  :toothy12:

That neck looks so great on the black body!
congrats!

and i promise, no funny attempts on a name from me this time.

That looks amazing mate, well done.

Note: In his specs he said there was no neck pickup..

Hey, wtf?  The fingerprints are missing!   :glasses10:

Nice job Joey!  So, how's it sound?!?   :headbang1:

where is the neck pickup?

No neck pickup.

I use the bridge pickup only on my Jazz basses 100% of the time, so i did without the neck pickup completely.
It has nothing to do with trying to keep things simple or keep costs low or what have you, that's just the tone i like from my bass.

I am going to refrain from commenting on the sound until i have had a while to really play the bass and hear what it sounds like.

Right now, everything is buzzy/zingy as hell because its got brand-spankin'-new strings on.
I am going to wait a few days for the strings to settle in.

My first impression is that it sounds amazing. Very bright and expressive.

Jazzouk P. Ferralder.  I'm not being funny.  It's a great name.
