I believe Facebook was originally made for university students, so... no?
It may have been created by a university student, but it's the same as myspace....blah blah blah....

For the record, Facebook and Myspace is for teenage girls and boys......
Believe it or not, Facebook has been picking up alot of popularity from -surprise, doug- 40-60 year olds, who mostly use it, it seems, to get back in contact with friends from yesteryear.
So whether facebook was marketed to teenage girls and boys or not, it seems to be recognized as a pretty legitimate means of communication with several generations of people.

I use it to keep in touch with friends who went to schools in different states, as well as most of my family.

Its not like MySpace with all neon colors and emo bands playing on every page. Check it out, it is fairly legit.

I'm 46 and on FB, so I agree. Keep track of my kids (grown), family, and yes...old friends. And I'm definitely not a teenager. I wish. LOL

No. The teenage girls and boys have left Facebook because they got embarrassed when their moms and dads invited them to become 'friends'...

Ha ha, my mate's wife initially ignored her daughter's first friend request..........

My friend is working overseas at the moment and he suggested Facebook to tie up his family whom I am freinds with, him and others who I socialise with for football. BTW, I'm soon to be 49.

One of the annoying things is that some of my ex- work colleagues who are friends on Facebook with my mate (we used to work together), think that all is forgiven about what happened a few years back in a very nasty work situation, and have requested friend status with me. These are guys who damned near gave me death threats at one point. THAT was freaky (& ignore button hit). Other than that though, it's been good.

I'm 41 and use FB every day. It's nice to meet up with people I went to school with and I keep up with my family in the US. I think FB may have benefits for teens and adults. I like it a lot better than myspace. I have a myspace page and I couldn't tell you the URL if you tried to beat it out of me.
MULLY

BTW, Max, I joined the unofficial Warmoth page
