Just a mock-up so far.  Not everything is bolted down on the Jazzmaster, and the Thinline just got through with it's week of daily Tung Oil wipe-downs.

The Jazzmaster Peel and Play has a Roasted Maple Right Hand Reverse Jazzmaster Standard Thin neck from their In Stock.  Since the body on the Jazzmaster is a traditional Alder, I figured I'd go with traditional woods for the neck.  The body is chambered.  Pickups are used Duncan Designed I snagged off the interwebs, I plan on using them until I get a feel for the Jazzmaster, then I'll decide on something different in the future.  I do have Rosewood pickup covers on the way.

The Thinline is Mahogany with a Padouk top, neck is a standard thin strat neck from in-stock, Padouk with Ebony fingerboard.

My thinline is meant to be a sibling to another thinline.

@chris:  In the context of a jazzmaster, reverse  headstocks are correct.  Like a rocket taking off!

Those show now. Handsome guitars. I like the way the headstocks go with the body finishes.

As planned....

On the Thinlines, the one with P90s has a Bubinga top with Bubinga neck wood.  On the one with Humbuckers, it's a Padouk top and Padouk neck wood.

And the Jazzmaster, Maple top, maple neck...
