I have a Jazzmaster body on which I have just applied my "final" coat of Tru Oil. The finish looks terrific, and has quite a sheen, but I am wondering if others have gone further and done a final polish with 6000/8000/12000 Micro Mesh. If so, any comments would be appreciated. For those who have, was the outcome positive (e.g. removal of any streaking; high sheen), or would you recommend simply applying a final wax coat and leave it at that?
