I waited 3 months for this body and I now have Sciatica and am bedridden! Bummer! I can't stand or sit up for more than a few minutes. I have an MRI in a few days then hopefully I can get this fixed soon and put together this beautiful guitar!

My plan was to use black pickup covers and Jbass knobs but I'm having second thoughts. Any opinions?

The black does not work with the rest of it.  I think you want to match the pickguard here.

I think you could get away with the black pickup covers and perhaps change the knobs for chrome tele knobs or similar. I suppose it all depends on how the rest of the hardware looks.

And I hope your sciatica gets sorted out.

And yea, the black pickup covers aren't great with the white pickguard. You could try a different pickguard if you wanted the black pickups. You could do chrome, though something about that guitar says 'not chrome' to me.  :icon_scratch:
