Or, more specifically, has anyone ever compared the tonepros aluminum tailpieces with their standard tailpieces? I'm trying to decide which to go with for my Ibanez renovation. The aluminum is more expensive. I know aluminum is more vintage-correct but i'm more wondering what changes in the tone. Good/Bad or Worth It/Not Worth It opinions are welcome, but the best thing would be if someone could just describe how it sounds different.

I replaced my LP TP with a lightweight one. To me it seemed a more defined sound. In that maybe a little more note separation in chords.
Can you measure it? Doubt it. But I was happy with the purchase and perceived results.
