Tiger Woods confesses

I will never understand why crap like this surprises anyone.  I say let his wife worry about it, why anyone else gives a rat's patootie is way beyond me.

Wonder what Nike and his other sponsors think of all this? If their market research shows customer disgust they may have to look at the contract and what, if any, personal integrity and/or morality clauses are in that...

He's one of the highest paid sportspeople in the world, and a lot is expected of him as a  result. I personally don't agree with the dirty laundry being aired, and tend to believe it's between himself, his wife and their kids if they are old enough to understand what's happening, but being a public figure with such a high profile AND an ambassador for many charities and causes kinda almost makes these revelations excusable.

I must say though, Guitlouie, that his affairs did surprise me - I thought he WAS a happily married family man.

See, I didn't care and still don't.  I don't look to sports stars for ethics, nor do I look to politicians.  It's funny to me that he's so bad at the actual act of having affairs.  It's good he's such a skilled golfer; he'd never make it as a pimp.

If they were Ok with Ronaldo cheating his wife with three shemales, I guess they're alright about Tiger Woods... But it were in Brazil, not USA... Lets say people there upstairs face it a little more serious than anything... Here is no problem at all in a man cheating his wife, on 99% cases...

Who the hell is Ronaldo?  J/K

Nah, americans :toothy12:

He's one of the greatest football players of the world, one of the biggest endorses of Nike and Unicef's ambassador... The biggest scorer of Football World Cup ever (the guy that made more goals in his 3 WC playing)

When he was younger he played the hell out, one the best ever... now he's oldy (30 and something - football is very short carrer) and playing back in Brazil (on my team)... Not so fast as he was, not as thin as he was BUT making some decisive goals...

I was joking Fernando.  I couldn't tell you his stats, who he played for, or even what he looked liked, but even I know Ronaldo is a....uh (gulp)...football player.

He still has his sponsors at the moment.  According to SNL, it's because women don't watch golf.  The adds during golf commercials are for products to make your junk work right, or for when it stops working altogether.  Cialis and Lexus logos were shown.

:laughing7:

I think it's right about the men-oriented audience... In the end it's all about business... Moral is completely "off" the talk...

Personaly, I couldn't care less about him... But I'd accept his gorgeous wife for a revenge night, surely :laughing3:

Elin is really far hotter than just about any woman you're ever going to meet waiting tables. But every time this kind of thing comes out as "news" I find my own country to be very weird.
"Super rich sports star cheats on wife" - is a lot more dog-bites-man than man-bites-dog, people.

I could give a rat's ass, but have to look at him a bit askance; if you're a relatively attractive man with all the money in the world, what are you doing with a skank girlfriend from Tool Academy?

Note to foreigners who might not know what Tool Academy is, you really don't want to know...

Yesterday, I calmed down a friend by pointing out the school bus is almost as strong as Tiger's wife.

When you say "football" you mean soccer right!!!  :toothy12:

It's because our version doesn't involve faking injury as a key winning strategy, nor are 0-0 ties considered satisfying entertainment in the US. "Soccer" is actually a slang word for "boring thing" in American English.
