I read that you can't have full binding on a forearm contour body. What's this then?

I've vowed to stay away from the showcase for a while so I don't end up a complete W zombie but these guys make it hard!!!

There's a guitar on there (clear, maybe tint, I think) that makes me think a goldtop strat with white binding and natural back would look killer.

That would be called drop top binding and is available on the Strat and JBass bodies.
 
Ah! I thought drop top was the skinny little binding. Sheesh, maybe I should go back to school some more and learn to read..... :tard:

It is easier to bend binding for the larger curves of the body.  The tighter curves on a headstock are more difficult.
