I think a Strat is about as good as it gets as far as balance goes. The KNS should be even better in my imagination. I'll know for sure before too long. I'm not sure what "too long" is, though

I guess my next build plan of a hardtail Strat has turned into something completely different. The Metallic Surf Green lightweight Meadowhawk and KNS 6 bodies that have been in the Showcase too long have been killing me. I already have a Meadowhawk, so ... I guess I'm going to be building a KNS! Most people probably imagine this body shape as a chugga-chugga thrasher guitar (maybe?). Well, I'm going for a semi-recessed Wilkinson. My build schedule on this one is rivaling some of yours! I did mention the fact initially that this might be a two year build. That was intentionally over-estimating ... maybe. I'm just waiting for the proper time to do the electronics. Too much other crap going on right now. I think I have all the pieces gathered. Just need to focus. The past few days I have been focusing more on ... should I go for a Velocity or Soloist to utilize my newly acquired Meadowhawk Wizard Gibson scale neck!
That reminds me of the Charvel orange crackle bass my friend let me use to play with some other kids on Pearl Jam's "Jeremy" at the high school talent show in the early '90s! I love those crackle finishes. Looks really cool on the KNS!
At the same talent show, I did a solo acoustic version of Social Distortion's "Ball And Chain". Ahhh ... the good ol' days!
