I drilled some holes! 
Aaron-approved oversized strap buttons and Schaller locking tuners have been installed. I also received the Lollar El Rayo humbuckers. Went with the "F-Spaced" bridge version. I might even use my custom Scab Pickens truss rod cover on this one. Here are some pics of a rough mock up just to give an idea what the finished guitar will be looking like. I'm really liking it so far. Now if I could only talk myself into breaking out the soldering iron one of these days. Time and motivation have both been hard to come by lately.
