So after a recent layout revision, I have an additional space for a single FX pedal.  What are your must-have pedals?  Here's what Iv'e got so far-

DD20 Gigadelay
Timmy OD
Boss TU-3
Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay

What am I missin'? :glasses10:

Wah: Always had one. I have the Budda since 2000 and have stopped looking although there are many good wah pedals these days.

Xotic BB: I have it for about five years. I can safely say it will not leave my pedalboard as long as I continue using my vintage Fender heads.

Delay: I use it like a reverb not for crazy repeats. Both of my amps don't have reverb, I use the delay when I play clean for ambience. I have a Line6 Echo Park, cheap pedal with lots of functions which I rarely use. Someday I'll buy either the Mad Professor, the EHX or the Strymon.

I have more pedals but these three are here to stay.

For the kind of stuff I like playing, a Tremolo is really nice to have. I love the different sounds you can get out of a good tremolo.

I'm not really a big effects pedals kinda guy.  I only have two pedals I use regularly.  I have a Suhr Riot distortion and a Vox Time Machine delay.  I also have a wah, but it doesn't get a lot of use.  The Riot is the best distortion pedal I've ever heard--amazing sound!

No, you just get a different kind of 'board.

Ectually, I just had a custom road case ordered up for the ultra and pedalboard.  I'll report back once I get it home and bolt everything up.

I'll look forward to hearing about that. I'm interested in doing something similar, I think. Everything else is going on the block, except my mixer and the Super Champ XD.

Ah, you made me think of a reverb pedal, which in turn makes me think I need a temolo pedal for some reason.  That's why I opened this thread.  :sign13:

If you're any good at soldering (or even not all that good but want to get better) check out Build Your Own Clone. The tremolo and reverb are two of the first pedal kits I bought from them. (Also, the people on their forums are really cool and will help out a ton, much like the forums here.)

I've built their Blues Breaker clone.  Tasty stuff!
