Yep guilty as charged.  But I don't make sure no one is looking.  For that matter, I do the old snot rocket trick quite frequently while riding my motorcycle when it's cold out.  You ought to see the look on some prim and proper business type womens faces when some burly bearded guy on a Harley pulls up next to him and shoots snot all over the side of their Acura.  Try it sometime it is priceless, better than any Mastercard commercial...

I'm not that bad really, I try not to get it on their car, but if I notice them looking at me and reaching for the lock button cause they think I'm gonna rape them cause I ride a bike, I tend to use a little more force on the snot to try to hit the Acura....  Truth told, the snot usually ends up in my beard or all over my sleeve!!!!!

Back in 1990, when Acura was first selling cars in the KC area, I worked for an auto interior shop.  An Acura dealer was a customer, so I'd go fetch the cars to get worked on.  You know, fixing cigarette burns, torn upholstery, putting new covers on the seats, etc.  Anyways, the Integra was my favorite Accura to drive.  Those things had pickup, I tell ya.  They'd hug a corner tight and burn up the rubber on the straightaway. 

Darn, that was cool job.  Dude, seriously, my job was to pick up and deliver cars.  Everything from your standard mom & pop sedan to an exotic Ferrari, and many others.  My main company car was an ugly pink '72 Cadillac.  Yup.  It was pink.  My boss made me drive it around.

The restaraunt I work in is in this uppity neighborhood in Raleigh, It's where all the Preps that you went to high school ended up living.  They all come driving up in their Land Rovers that have never seen a speck of dust, nevermind having actually been off the road in the (gasp) MUD, wearing their Northface jackets (for that expedition to the Himilayas they have planned later), with their cell phones permanantly implanted to the sides of their faces, and acting like they are the only person in the place that matters, because, ya know, they are so very busy, and every one else is just some obstacle to overcome in their busy, busy days.  Anyway, a dominant color of polo shirt every day is PINK.  These are the same guys that, back in high school again, probably called everyone a fag for not wanting to get changed in the locker room with fifteen other dudes.

So I will be going on this roadtrip tomorrow..
checked in my van at the garage for a last minute check-up and guess what? Waterpump broke, drive belt almost gone and transmission flush waaaaaay overdue.
the good thing is, I won't get stuck with a broken down car next week, but the bad thing is that I am down $500 bucks.. or half my drinking budget.

oh, final destination is New Orleans.. with stops at Caddo Lake, Shreveport and somewhere in Cajun Country.
any last minute tips anyone?
