Looking for a wiring diagram for a tele bridge, P90 neck, 1 vol pot, 1 tone pot and a 3-way switch.  The P90 is a SD vintage soapbar with one shielded pushback wire.  Trying to understand how it solders into a standard tele diagram (neck only/neck + bridge/bridge only switching, with master vol & tone controls).  :icon_scratch:

Also need input on whether to use 250k or 500k pots with this setup.

Anyone?

This diagram (standard Tele) will work just fine. The P90 is a single coil pickup and needs no special treatment, although in your case the shield is doubling as the (return/ground/neutral/common/etc.). So, where you see a black wire in the diagram, that's where you'd hook up the shield.

That's exactly the scheme I'm going to use...
To make certain I understand your explanation:  I'll route the shielded wire across the vol pot and solder, then jumper the wire to the switch for a pushback contact... n'est pas?

I always use 500K pots, audio (log) taper. Also, you might consider reducing the size of that cap to .022µF, rather than .047µF. Those two changes will get you better range out of everything due to less high frequency and overall signal loss. But, that's just me. I also like to put a .001µF "treble bleed" cap across the volume pot, as per so...

Keeps you from losing high end as you turn down the volume.
