Howdy fellers! I'm super excited to have just finished my first Warmoth build. I wanted a Deluxe with some of my favorite Gibson appointments (silverburst, '59 profile neck), but still be very much a Tele (swamp ash, 25.5" scale, etc.) – and this is the result. She's a real joy to play, at around 7lbs., and sounds as sexy as she looks.

So I've expressed on more than one occasion that the silverburst is one of the bottom five least attractive finishes you can put on a guitar, and then you come along and prove I had my head up my fundament.  Nice job.  Beautiful execution.  Decal's sweet!

I love Silverburst, so to each his own.  Great build!  Love the decal too, reminds me of Lemmy's Rickenbastard!  :headbang1:

Ha! Good eyes. Not meant to offend...but wanted something very easy to remember. Plus, when playing loud rock & roll, it can't hurt to conjure up some of the dark side.

Same here...sometimes it's just a truly fine thing when someone shows me how wrong I can be!
Really fine work!!

Nice job! That's gotta raise some eyebrows when you pull it out of the case, eh?

First of all, welcome to the forum :eek:ccasion14:
I too am not a big fan of the silver burst, but you certainly made it work here :icon_thumright:
You have a sweet geetar going on there.  Great design and the water slide is very cool.

So, you now you have one under your belt.  What is number two going to be.
:kewlpics: :rock-on:

Gee, thanks guys.

Next one will be a Jazzmaster, me thinks. But ohhhh how I wish there were still LP Special/Junior type bodies still available. Because, that.
