These arrived mid last week - I'll post the final assembly pics later once I've taken them...

The body
Soloist - rear route, hum/single/single
Swamp ash with a wild maple top
Top Finish - Swamp Burst with clear binding
Back Finish - Clear Brown

The neck
Flame Maple with vintage gloss & Pao Ferro Fretboard

I love wild maple...and thing thing is a beauty!!!

I'd never seen wild maple before - I'm glad I clicked on the choose your own wood option! 

I used the strat builder to see what the finish would look like since they don't have the soloist set up with the super cool functionality that shows you what the finish would look like over the wood choice.  It was really close to the finished product too in terms of grain (light and dark) vs the figuring on the wood for what the final outcome was.
