Surf Green Mustang

Hey so im building a surf green mustang 1965 out of ash, with a white pickguard, white switches, and either creme or white pups. im planning on using a fralin mustang pup in the neck and a Novak jazzmaster style humbucker in the bridge. im going to make the humbucker coil splitting but im wondering if i should use 250k or 500k pots or a combo, and im also wondering if i will still be able to get the famous mustang "out of phase mode" with this pup config.

Input would be great, and ill probably post pics as the build comes along.\

im doing the body from scratch on this and getting a warmoth neck.

I was hoping for a picture, that guitar sounds pretty cool.  I think you should use 500k for most everything, unless you are trying to do certain vintage circuits.  Check Fender's website, for sure, they have many circuits of recent and past models.  When the pickups are two different brands, you never know how they wound the pickups, so they might be out of phase just hooking them up normal (slight possibility).  The phase switch will work fine, but you may have to reverse things to get it right, after you hear it.
