Stu Mac has knotty Pine telecaster bodies

I can't see a big piece of Pine like that remaining stable.

Neither can I.

But, why would anyone want it to? What's next? Balsawood bodies? Laminated Stinkwood? Although, at least Balsa wouldn't look like scrap.

When I grow up I want to visit a parallel universe where "MOJO" means

"surprising and or/unique design elements leading towards unexpected tonal excellence"

rather than

"let's see what the dumbass tweezebrains'll buy this week BWA HA HA HA HA!"

A boy's gotta dream.... :cool01:

Besides, if it gets all cracked and warped, that's just more mojo, innit?  :icon_biggrin:

Unless it cracks down the middle

My 8th grade shop teacher was a rather colorful character,  an African American who insisted we call him 'Brother Mac' - in a rural southern school system. One of the students once complained about using a piece of lumber because it was cracked, and his response was: [note: you have to growl/roll the OR in BORN], "Son, you was BORN with a crack, and your momma and daddy didn't throw you back!"
