I want to set up my guitar so that I can have the neck and bridge pickups eq'd differently, without a bunch of knobs. I have been looking at stereo. But I realized this might be simpler. What if I disconected the tone from the neck pickup, then eq'ed the amp for that pickup. When I switch to the bridge pickup the tone pot works there so I have two pickups that both sound great.
The problem is I can't seem to figure out how to disconect the tone from the neck on a 1v1t 3 -way toggle 2 pickup circuit. Is this possible?
Any help appreciated.

The tone control can be connected to the hot wire of the bridge pickup. Does that sound ok?

If you get the right pickups, they don't need to be eq'd at all before the amplifier.
