This past week some new parts arrived so I'm gonna get started.
MannMade vintage tremolo and Schaller locking tuners. Gonna drill the holes for the tuner set screws and the neck will be done. No finish for the roasted flame maple. Next I'm gonna do a Danish Oil finish on the body, then add the electronics.

Looks very good.

You don't plan on any nut and fret finessing?

I'm gonna address any fret, nut adjustments after I install the neck and string it up.
Mixed up a batch of dye( mixture of chocolate and orange) to finish the back of the body. Also taped off a binding between the two wood surfaces.

It does indeed come alive. She's a beauty.  Looking forward to seeing this project progress.

Since I'm on vacation all week I'll use the time to make some good progress.
I've applied 6 coats of Poly, polish and wax. Getting ready to add shielding and some wiring.

That's some really sharp Mahogany, and the finish really makes it show off!

Thanks, The body's Alder and the top is Koa. Added shielding, installed trem and pots. Waiting on pickups and rings.

You've really make it look great. What a good way to spend some vacation time. :icon_thumright:

My neck plate came in today, so I bolted it together and put a set of 10 gauge strings on her. After I adjusted the saddles and trem springs it plays very nice with low action and no fret buzz. It seems too easy. Just waiting on my pickups to arrive soon. After It's all together I'll take it to my guitar shop guy to have any final adjustments made.

My McNelly Stagger Swagger pickups arrived yesterday, so I spent the evening finishing up loose ends.

She is complete. I must say that I'm very happy with Warmoth and the parts they supplied. It was a fun and somewhat easy project. It sounds wonderful. In a few days I'll take it to the shop and have my technician do any adjustments that might be needed.
