Hey,  :redflag:

I went thru the posts, but could not find a similar issue here, so I'll post a new topic.
Sorry if already answered 1000x (please point me where!)  :-\

Warmoth is proposing both trouting for vintage bridge (the ash-tray one) and for the standard one (simple plied plate)
I kinda dislike the ashtray (not that comfortable to me) and would like to have the latest Fender standard one, with the nice modern saddle.  :tard:

Shall I take the risk to trout it, have it shipped without the bridge and go somewhere else online buying it?  ???

thank you !

Check out the Tele bridge routing options here: http://www.warmoth.com/Guitar/Bodies/Options/BridgeRoutingOptions.aspx

I believe you are looking for the American Standard Tele rout.

Wyliee> routing is indeed available, but Warmoth is not proposing the hardware that _is_ the American Standard Tele bridge itself. Hence my question here-above...  :sad1:

The Gotoh Tele Bridge that Warmoth sells fits the vintage rout and has modern saddles and flat sides - maybe that would be your best option.

I have a Joe Barden vintage-style bridge up for sale or trade on the... sale/trade page. It's vintage in the string spacing, but has compensated saddle pieces and a cutaway notch so that ashtray doesn't mess with your playing.

That's a nice part. I used one on my Tele, but the saddle height screws are pretty long. They need to be either ground down or replaced lest you turn the back of your palm into hamburger. I went a little further and replaced the saddles altogether with Graphtech String Saver saddles, which worked out pretty good. The height adjustment screws still stick up a bit, but not as much, and I think they must tumble them prior to use as they're pretty smooth.
