A neighbor was moving and cleaning house. I got to pick through some stuff he didn't need and got a major haul! Snagged two Tele bodies, since a friend has always wanted to build one. I kept the unfinished body, dyed it white and sprayed with 2k matte poly. Twang King in the neck and Chopper in the bridge, CTS 250k pots with treble bleed and Sozo 047 cap, 5 way 4 pole for splitting and parallel options. Hipshot open lockers and switchcraft jack.
Ordered a Reverse Tele neck with Wenge shaft and Rosewood board, 10-16, standard thin, no board markers and white side markers. I put a note on the order asking for Warmoth to pick a board that was close in appearance to the Wenge. Not sure if they did or its just coincidence but the board is very close :toothy10: . Gave the board a thin application of F-One and the rest a very thin application of tung oil after polishing the back from 800-2000 grit.
Just need to solder it up (ugg) and install the strap buttons, and then do the setup, polish and leveling if needed.
Edit: finished
