NEW BEST E.T. on new set-up
11.45 @ 125.08 MPH
22 PSI ON 93 OCTANE PUMP GAS - NO N2O :
Engine is built and set-up for 40+ psi.  :o
Driven to the track and back with a/c, cruise control and stereo kicking!!!

Still got ya beat...

You've gone faster in a full weight, 3500 lb, 4 cylinder street car in full street trim on 93 octane pump gas without nitrous, I doubt it.  :tard:

Watch the video  :laughing7:

But that is a badass ride you got there, It looks like you put a lot of heart, time, and money into it.  :kewlpics: :kewlpics: :occasion14:

Thanks, It was a project I started in 2002 and mostly had finished by 2008. But I'm back on it again and hope to pull some 10 sec slips with it in street trim very soon, preferably with 93 pump and no N2O. But it may take some C16 to get there. I did install some bigger cams (FP4R) since those runs were made, so 10's on pump gas might be attainable..

BTW, nice rides you have, both of them, I was just messing with you about street vs. strip.  :icon_jokercolor:

I figured.  :toothy12:
I can't wait to get this thing sold though, I'm excited to get a new ride  :toothy10:

Something that would be really great would be an RX7 like the one posted earlier in this thread with an engine like mine in RWD.

Here's Brent Rau with the world's fastest 2.0L 4 cylinder:

Front tires don't touch the ground until 3rd gear

Here's John Shepherd's stock bodied AWD Talon. I think by this time he had installed a Ford 9inch into the rear because he kept spitting out the stock style rear axles.

with enough elbow grease, you can put a 4 rotor in an FD RX7

How's that gig going, James?  Still going?

I had a 2004 350Z and loved it.  I traded it in last year on a 2009 Nissan GT-R.  Of course, it did not stay stock for long.  HB Speed large MAF intakes, AMS FMIC, Harmon Motive intercooler piping, Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors, HKS plugs, AAM downpipes, Titek midpipe, HKS catback, and dyno tuned to 540 awhp and 560 awtq with the Cobb AccessPort (91 octane).  It also has AP Racing J hook rotors, Carbotech XP10 pads, Stillen stainless brake lines, and Stillen sway bars.  Rounding out track-related mods is a Traqmate complete with Chase Cam.

I don't drag race, but other GT-R owners with silmilar mods/tune to mine do mid 10's in the 1/4 on 91 octane pump gas.

I much prefer road course driving, and just beat my personal best at Cal Speedway a couple of weeks ago:  2.5 mile track, 1:51.450 lap time, which was good for the 7th fastest lap time of the day (out of about 70).

Here is in-car video (with data) of my fastest lap that day (Aug 14th).

The GT-R s are nicknamed Godzilla in Australia.

Hey Doc, why no more guitars? You know there's always room for one more?  :icon_biggrin:

What happened, you accidentally amputated your own hand instead of the patients?  :toothy11:

Arrgggh!  I have too many guitars already.  I can't be tempted to build another!  :laughing7:

(the answer's no!)

Solution: loan some of yours to Max and then build some more.

Max said:

Yes, one.  In fact, it might be one too many.  :icon_biggrin:  Perhaps it needs a Floyd.    :laughing7:

You're exactly right, man.  What I have spent on tires and brake pads in the past year is nuts!

OzziePete said:

Ha!  A true solution would be if Max bought some of my guitars...then I might consider building replacements.  :laughing7:

Also Pete, the GT-R is Godzilla world-wide!  :icon_thumright:

On a different note, this board really needs a multi-quote function.  :occasion14:
