I had a similar problem with an ibanez body i had. a marshall plexi fell on it and split from the neck pocket through to the bridge route. In my case it was much better off forcing the break and then resetting it, however max is right, this is not a break.

They certainly do. I've had a couple "above and beyond the call of duty" responses from them where the issue at hand wasn't even theirs, it was mine. They just wanted to keep me happy and maintain a good relationship. Kinda like asking your brother to help you move. You know deep inside he's saying "Goddammit! I hate this shit!" but he does it anyway for the sake of harmony and future interactions.
