I'll go ahead and say my golding skillz probably aren't the best, especially on that bridge pickup. I just took the color off a gold Fender bridge and applied it to the metal areas.

bit of an update, at the guitar show this weekend I went ahead and purchased a Dimarzio Area Hot T bridge for this thing, loved the read up on it, should sound great.

Distressed chrome is the way to go with this one...

Here's an idea Luke.  Just put a cheapy bridge on it and we'll get a nice distressed one at the Guitar Festival next year.
