That's exactly where my mind went when I saw page 1 of the thread. Now a 24.75" mahogany neck, with a bound ebony board and diamond mother of pearl inlays on that, perhaps with either a black painted or ebony veneer on a Warmoth style headstock, I think it would be complete.

That body has my name all over it!






...but perhaps not until I've been paid  :sad:
 
Interesting.. I really like the idea of 'salvaging' the good wood around the sides. So in that sense, great work.
 
I agree with DiMitriR33 - It does look like a Zemaitis, just before it goes to the engraver. Or a Troussart Steeltop before it gets left outside for a couple of months to "relic up".
