I think it came out very nice. Olympic white alder body, goncalo alves neck and wenge fingerboard, SD vintage and Broadcaster pickups. I have it set up for Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing flatwound .010-.044 strings, and they feel great on this guitar.

The simple things in life are often the most gratifying.  I applaud your tasteful implementation of a classic configuration.  Nice work.

Bagman

Thanks Bagman. I forgot to mention it has SS 6115 frets (so it's not completely old school :)). Also forgot to give credit to David at Westwood Music Center in West LA, who did a superb job of assembling this guitar and doing the setup. I highly recommend him.

How about a back side shot.

Thanks for the kind words Updown. Here are some other shots that I have right now. Next time I pull out the camera I'll take a back/side shot.

Beautiful. That definitely deserves a couch strap. Great work.

I agree. Beautiful. Good choices of materials and components, as well as their interaction with each other. Fine piece of work.

I'm not sure I understand the "deserves a Couch strap" comment, though. While I applaud their use of recycled materials and their ability to keep them from looking like what they are, I'm not so sure anything needs to qualify to use their products. I would think a guitar like this "deserves" something much nicer and less reactive. Although, if this body has a Warmoth finish, then reactivity isn't an issue.

I guess i'm just a fanboy of couch. I absolutely love them and just think it's a good addition to any guitar...at least that isn't affected by reactivity.
