Are the showcase precis static or do the decrease with time? Because I can swear I have seen items that has gone down in price slowly, but I haven't really kept track so I can't be too sure either.

Is this true?

I've seen some reduce a little over time. I've had a couple of things in my watchlist that have done that.

A little column A, a little column B from what I've noticed.

What is column A and B?

He just means a little of your first point, static prices, and a little of your second point, decrease with time.

Aha, I see!

Yeah I guess the regular showcase items are static, but maybe the Screamin Deals are lowering slowly?

You might also see a more expensive item drop a little if it has been in stock for a while.

There's been a couple of items where I've thought once it goes below 500 as an example I will buy it. Both times someone else got it first.

Yeah I can remember some specific VR body that was around forever but got cheaper and cheaper

Isn't it always like that? You never win yourself, it's always somebody else  :laughing11:

Yes, it's part of the fun though if you do get something.

They definitely come down over time, but it is a long time. The soloist body I just picked up started at close to 300 dollars. The price reduced twice before it got put into the screaming deals section, then once more after it was in there a while.

I picked it up in the recent screaming deals sale, I couldn't believe it was still there when I went to buy it.

There is another body I'm watching pretty closely, it has dropped twice now too.

I've been a Warmoth showcase watcher for about five years (and there are others here with way more time on that clock than me) and it seems to be over the past year that a lot more activity has been brewing with deals. At the moment they appear to be wanting to clear out their inventory of Regal necks. If I was having a project in mind with that sort of neck I would be all over the showcase right now because I have personally seen nothing like those prices previously. I did pick up one body that had a minor chip in the finish that would not be seen once a guitar was put together for $260 but as the earlier post said its a combination of the norm plus some far between inventory shifts plus the odd "second" due to a scratch, dent, or perhaps a canceled custom build order.
