True, but the ROT is in Austin, and that place is super fun to begin with.  Mix in a bunch of bikers, and party time goes up to 11.

CB I never knew you rode too!!!  Where is that rally at?  Looks like fun!!  The wife and I are discussing going to Laconia this year, but it has rained like the past 5 or six years up in New Hampshire that week.  Maybe sturgis next year after I get off the sporty and get a big twin!!  Now if I could only fit my guitar in the saddlebag.....  That really looks like it was a good time

After 9 days up in the mountains, we had a really good time at the improvised outdoor cinema! We got burgers and hot dogs and a bottle of coca cola!

Hey hey, nothing wrong with Sporty's.  I put 650 miles on mine goin to Leesburg and back... no issues, rode great.  Then again, I travel light.  FWIW, my first XL was an 86, and had 93,000 on it when I reluctantly sold it.

hmm, maybe guitarist's first experiences are supposed to be bad... my first 2 guitars were Japanese SG's..... and I really don't like SG's today.... and no sentimental feelings at all...
