I know nothing about rugby except for who the All Blacks are and what the Haka is.

.....some other Rugby National teams hate facing up to the Haka by the All Blacks, some deem it a waste of time. Here's the Welsh response a while back, basically saying "Challenge accepted".
Since the "Braveheart" movie came out, I've been waiting for the Scottish National Rugby Team to drop their shorts and bare their genitalia and buttocks to them in 'response', but I guess that would be going too far!
A lot of the movements relate to what they will do to their opponents, much like the katas that are done in the sport of karate. The All Blacks did a newer more aggressive style of Haka for the South Africans once and the last movement was imitating throat cutting, which led to some controversy.

Here's the Welsh response, with their crowd behind them, 100%.

And here's the controversial Haka the All Blacks did for South Africa....

I think a All Blacks game without haka is just NOT a All Blacks game at all... It's awesome and part of the fun!

OzzyPete, beware I may be going NZ at 2011 :glasses9:
If you see a white bear on any pub or the stadiums, may be me :laughing7:

I agree that an All Blacks match wouldn't be the same without the Haka. But years ago, many National teams had Hakas, and just about everyone of them has dropped the idea, except for where it is culturally relevant, like New Zealand and Tonga and other Polynesian nations.

Re: the white bear comment. The White Bear is also a logo of one of Australia's iconic liquor drinks, Bundaberg Rum. So if Australia is playing, quite a few white bears might be seen, lol! Also, some British folks coming from a long winter might be a lot whiter than you...
