Sorry for asking, but what do you actually mean with a "Languedoc thing"?  :toothy11:

It was build completely custom, but I always end up on this forum when searching for luthier-inspiration and -knowledge. Doest that make it an unofficial Warmoth guitar?  ccasion14:

Ah! I found the Languedoc Luthier indeed. NICE! I do get my guitar is somewhat in the same ball park as those.

Actually I think it is about endless dedication and "not making stupid mistakes". Or might this be equal to tru craftmanship?  :icon_scratch:

I started of with Black, sanded that back to make the grain of the quilt pop. Accordingly StewMac liqued stains: "Coral reef blue" mixed with  "Bright green" and added "Blue" to get a bit of blue-burst on it.

So yeah, mix and sand until you get the result you are looking for
